Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
One year of experience in occupational therapy.
Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State with current licensure.
CPR Certification every two years.
Valid applicable state driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform specialized tests such as manual muscle testing and goniometry, and teach therapy procedures to patients and families.
Conduct both individual and multidisciplinary evaluations with team members and document diagnostic findings.
Plan intervention strategies and communicate with families about child strengths and weaknesses in various settings.
Provide OT treatment including neuro-developmental and sensory motor therapy, home programming, and equipment demonstrations.
Document goals and progress, participate in IFSP as needed, and engage in chart reviews for quality assurance.
Attend staff and committee meetings and contribute to ongoing practice improvements.
