Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• One year of experience in occupational therapy.
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of applicable state with current licensure.
• CPR Certification every two years.
• Valid applicable state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the performance of specialized tests, such as manual muscle testing, goniometry and teaching occupational therapy procedures to the patient, family and other health personnel.
• Performs both individual and comprehensive evaluations with multidisciplinary team members and documents findings.
• Plans intervention strategies and communicates with families regarding child strengths and weaknesses; may work in homes, agencies, preschools or clinics.
• Provides therapy including neuro-developmental and sensory motor therapy and maintains goals/objectives documentation for therapy progress.
