Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide one-on-one pediatric therapy, tailoring plans to empower children. The role emphasizes collaboration with families, thorough documentation, and ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, individualized goals, family training, and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality care for each child.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Texas OT license or eligible before start date.
• 1 year of experience preferred but new graduates welcome to apply.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and create tailored treatment goals to enhance functional abilities.
• Administer occupational therapy services to improve skills like range of motion, strength, coordination, and activities of daily living.
• Train and support families with techniques and strategies to reinforce therapy goals at home.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care; supervision of assistants is a plus.
