Connect Pediatrics is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Corpus Christi, Texas area. You will provide in-home therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help build strong relationships with patients and families.

Qualifications

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy license in Texas
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Reliable transportation and driver's license
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests to determine pediatric therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients.
• Engage with patients' families, providing regular progress updates on goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation reflecting care provided and changes in treatment plans.
• Participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss progress and refine strategies.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a ride range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing them with regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans that address the diverse needs of each patient.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation that reflects the care provided and communicates changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements

• A valid, active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas
• Current BLS/CPR License
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required
