Job summary

Therapy 2000 in Texas is seeking a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our mission-driven home-health team. You will evaluate children, develop treatment plans, and partner with families to drive progress in the child’s natural environment.

Qualifications

• Current active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
• 3+ years as a pediatric OT.
• Home-health experience.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers and disciplines.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and required paperwork.
• Collaborate with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
