Cortica in Plano, TX, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary pediatric team. You will provide individual therapy and collaborate on integrated treatment plans to support children with neurodevelopmental differences.

The role requires a master’s degree and licensure, with duties including documentation, family education, and play-based interventions to promote sensory processing and daily living skills. Competitive compensation reflects experience.

• HIPAA knowledge and compliant practice
• EMR and MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Establish OT treatment goals using dynamic and standardized assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy and group/co-treatment sessions.
• Maintain patient records and billing per regulations.
• Deliver play-based and goal-directed interventions for sensory processing and daily skills.
• Facilitate activities to meet individualized goals.
• Support daily living activities with strategies and accommodations.
• Partner with families to understand values, interests and goals.
• Implement programs addressing sensorimotor, cognitive, communication, recreation, and social needs.
• Contribute to program development and staff education.
• Educate families on home programs to reinforce treatment.
• Deliver at least 27 hours of direct patient care weekly.
• Occasionally assist with positions and mobility tasks as required.
• Lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
