Job summary

Cortica is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our Carlsbad center in California. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, play-centered therapy for children with neurodevelopmental differences, within Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.

Responsibilities include assessment, treatment planning, and both in-clinic and telehealth therapy, with competitive compensation and opportunities for growth on our clinical ladder.

Qualifications

• Hold a current and unrestrictive Occupational Therapy license for the state of practice.
• Master’s degree in related field.
• Ability to complete safety training within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Establish OT treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
• Collaborate with transdisciplinary team to create collaborative treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and co-treat therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Contribute to autism diagnostic process with clinical insight and standardized assessments (e.g. ADOS).
• Deliver therapy in-person in the clinic and via telehealth as appropriate.
• Complete documentation within Cortica’s time frames.
• Provide neurodiversity-affirming, play-based and goal-based interventions.
• Facilitate functional and child-led experiences to meet individualized goals.
