Job summary

Cortica in Plano, TX is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join its growing, multidisciplinary team in a center-based setting. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based OT services to children and work within a collaborative care model.

This role requires a master’s degree, an active license, and the ability to deliver both individual and group therapy, with a minimum of 27 direct patient-care hours per week; compensation ranges from $79,022 to $98,777 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice OT in the relevant jurisdiction is required.
• Cross-state licensure may be needed as per business needs.

• Establish OT treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
• Consult with multi-disciplinary team to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
• Provide individual therapy sessions and group/co-treats as appropriate.

What will you do?

• Establishoccupational therapy treatmentgoalsthrough dynamic and standardized assessment tools
• Consult closely with multi-disciplinaryteam members to create collaborative treatment plans andintegrative strategies
• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate
• Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care
• Provideplay based and goal-basedinterventions topromote sensory processing, regulation, and skilldevelopmentin daily occupations
• Expect to deliver at least 27 hours of direct patient care each week, excluding time for training, documentation, and administrative meetings

• You hold a current and unrestricted license and/or certification that is required to practice within your clinical domain and obtain cross-state licensure in new states as indicated by the current business needs.
• $2,000 annual continuing education stipend.
• Receive competitive compensation, $79,022 to $98,777 depending on experience.
• Have an earning capacity that is not capped by salary, and will be eligible to earn an additional $45 for any extra billable hour above productivity expectations.
