Job summary

ABC Therapy, Ltd is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver school-based therapy across Medina, Summit, and Cuyahoga counties. The unique float position offers flexible scheduling and options for PRN, part-time, or full-time work, with compensation ranging from $39 to $48 per hour based on experience.

You will evaluate students, provide direct or consultative therapy, supervise assistants, and collaborate with teachers and families to maximize educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state OT license and NBCOT certification.
• OT degree from an accredited program.
• Clear background check.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• School or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and challenges in school performance.
• Provide direct and/or consultative therapy services to school-aged students.
• Supervise therapy assistants and collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
• Attend Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation per school/state/federal guidelines.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to help students succeed academically and functionally.
• Monitor progress, document interventions, and adjust plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
