Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine developmental or functional status and set individualized goals.
• Develop and administer therapeutic treatment to improve development and function.
• Fabricate and fit adaptive equipment, splints, or casts and instruct patients.
• Educate patients and families on goals and home activities and monitor progress.
• Document patient care per hospital and accrediting body requirements; manage caseload and documentation.
• Attend continuing education and participate in departmental training to enhance professional development.
• Educate hospital staff, students, and supervise learners in clinical settings.
