Qualifications

• One year of experience in occupational therapy.
• Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State with current licensure.
• CPR Certification every two years.
• Valid applicable state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized tests (e.g., manual muscle testing, goniometry) and teach OT procedures to patient, family, and health staff.
• Conduct both individual and comprehensive evaluations with a multidisciplinary team and document findings.
• Plan intervention strategies and communicate with families about child strengths/weaknesses across various settings (homes, agencies, preschools, clinics).
• Provide OT treatment services including neuro-developmental and sensory-motor therapy, developmental stimulation, home programming, equipment demonstration.
• Document goals and progress of therapy and participate in IFSP as needed.
• Participate in chart reviews for quality assurance and update tools for best practices.
• Attend scheduled staff, CDSA, or other committee meetings as needed.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work.
