Job summary

KidsCare Home Health seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver pediatric home-based therapy to children in their own homes, guiding families through individualized home programs and interventions.

You will evaluate patients, coordinate care with caregivers and office staff, and participate in quality initiatives while maintaining compliance with licensure and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure in good standing is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and administer remedial treatments for pediatric patients.
• Provide clinical treatment to patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training and counseling regarding status, progress, goals, home programming and discharge planning.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with the pediatric patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and family members to appropriate services including other professionals, agencies, and resources as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians on patient progress and maintain records.
