Family of Kidz in Hawthorne, NY is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support children from birth to age five. This full-time role offers a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days with active cases, and a flexible schedule during the school day.

The position emphasizes collaboration with families, school teams, and other professionals, with fee-for-service compensation and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License (new grads welcome pending licensure).
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home and/or preschool based settings.
• Write detailed speech and language evaluation reports demonstrating the child’s abilities and areas of difficulties.
• Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team.
• Develop appropriate functional goals using IEP direct.
