Job summary

Virtua Health seeks an educationally based pediatric occupational therapist for per diem, part-time work in Barrington, NJ. You will provide OT evaluations, treatments and consults within the school setting, collaborating with district teams to support IEP goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's in OT, NJ licensure, CPR, and NJ DOE school certification, with on-site hours in a school environment and the flexibility to adapt schedules as needed.

Qualifications

• Educationally based pediatric experience preferred.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an AOTA‑accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of NJ; CPR certificate; School certification by the NJ Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions.
• Therapist will meet IEP mandates per student.
• Maintains and completes all student documentation, records and reports to be educationally based and timely.
• Documentation must align with regulatory and department guidelines.
• Consults with student’s child study team, teacher, family, CST staff and others to provide optimum care and operations.
• Attend and participate in required meetings including IEP and CST meetings.
