Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to deliver Early Intervention OT services in home or center settings across Long Island and NYC. You will assess and support children in achieving developmental goals.

Responsibilities include evaluations, IFSP-based therapy delivery, progress documentation, and collaboration with families and professionals. Requires ACOTE-accredited degree, NBOT registration, NY OT license, and DOH approval.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an OT curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid OT license as required in the state of practice.
• DOH Approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in Early Intervention in home or center.
• Performs evaluations and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards

Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

Valid and unencumbered OT license as required in NY
