Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc., a Powerback Pediatrics company, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our Early Intervention program in New York. You will evaluate children, provide OT services in home or center settings, and document progress.

Candidates must hold an ACOTE-accredited degree, NBCOT registration, and an active state OT license. DOH approval is required. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited degree in occupational therapy.
• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Active and unencumbered state OT license.
• DOH approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to children in Early Intervention settings (home or center).
• Perform evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver OT services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and other professionals to support goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
