Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive EI OT services across home or center settings in the New York area. You will perform evaluations, track progress, and deliver IFSP-mandated services while coordinating with families and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
• Must have initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
• DOH Approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in the Early Intervention program which may include the home or center.
• Performs evaluations and assessments and tracks child progress.
• Delivers Occupational Therapy services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Education

NBCOT Certification
