Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services to children in early intervention programs, in homes or centers across New York.

You will evaluate and monitor progress, and deliver mandated OT services under the IFSP, while coordinating with families and other professionals to support each child’s goals. Responsibilities include documentation and progress notes, with a focus on comprehensive therapy and family-centered care in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT program completed.
• Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Valid, unencumbered OT license in the state of practice.
• DOH Approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services to children in Early Intervention settings (home or center).
• Conduct evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver OT services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and professionals to support goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.
