North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Vernon Hills, IL is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide in-clinic evaluations and individualized treatment plans for children, focusing on ADLs, play, feeding, and daily routines.

Join an interdisciplinary team with ABA, Speech, PT, and Mental Health professionals to deliver collaborative care and opportunities for co-treats, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois state license in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including ADLs, daily routines, play, and feeding.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift up to 45 lbs.
• Adequate vision and hearing for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer in-clinic therapy programs to increase independence in ADLs, routines, play, and feeding.
• Make cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed.
• Address executive functioning, attention, and fine/gross motor coordination.
• Create home programs and coach families to implement them.
• Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric specialists for coordinated care.
• Maintain detailed progress notes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
