Job summary

North Shore Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for clinic-based, part-time work in Chicago, IL. You will deliver in-clinic therapy, assess children, and develop individualized treatment plans to enhance independence in ADLs and routines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois state license in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including ADLs, daily routines, play, and feeding.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift up to 45 lbs.
• Adequate vision and hearing for written and verbal communication.
• Comfort working in an environment with moderate noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer treatment programs to increase independence in ADLs, routines, play, and feeding.
• Make cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed.
• Address executive functioning, attention, and fine/gross motor coordination.
• Create home programs and coach families to implement them.
• Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric specialists for coordinated care.
• Maintain detailed progress notes and adjust treatment plans as needed.
