The Role

Are you a relationship-oriented Occupational Therapist who is passionate about empowering children to thrive in their daily environments? Do you consider yourself a "people person" who enjoys building strong, supportive connections with families? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking an experienced, passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is clinic, home and community-based. You will focus on strengths-based, child-led, play-based intervention models that prioritize sensory regulation and functional life skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Strengths-Based Care: Provide evidence-based, compassionate, and neurodiversity-affirming therapy sessions across clinic, home and school environments.
• Family Coaching: Partner closely with caregivers using a coaching model to support a child’s development across daily routines (e.g., play, feeding, sensory processing).
• Evaluations & Plans: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and continuously monitor progress toward individualized goals.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Team up with our SLPs and PTs to provide holistic support and ensure the best outcomes for every child.
• Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing professional development to continually improve your practice.

What We’re Looking For

• Education & Licensure: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy with an active OTR license in the state of Illinois.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience, with a strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Philosophy: Deep commitment to neurodiversity-affirming care and child-led, play-based interventions.
• Logistics: Valid Driver's License and a reliable vehicle for community-based visits within a 3-mile radius of Evanston, IL.
• Bonus Qualifications: Early Intervention (EI) credentialed in Illinois.
