Job summary

Wee Speak Therapy & Learning Center in Lafayette, IN seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat children across home, school, and daily activities. You’ll design and implement play-based, evidence-informed plans and work with families to carry strategies into daily life.

Qualifications

• Indiana OT license or eligibility
• CPR certification (current)
• Pediatric experience preferred (new grads welcome)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric evaluations of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and daily living skills.
• Create and implement evidence-based, play-based treatment plans.
• Educate families with strategies and at-home resources to support goals.
• Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, and pediatricians for holistic care.
• Complete timely documentation with paid admin time.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive pediatric evaluations assessing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional living abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based, play-based treatment plans.
• Engage families and caregivers with education, strategies, and home-based resources to support therapy goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (SLPs, PTs, and pediatricians) to provide holistic care.
• Complete documentation in an organized and timely manner with designated, paid admin time.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Indiana State OT License (or eligibility).
• Current CPR Certification.
• Pediatric experience preferred (New graduates are encouraged to apply!).
