About The Therapy Place

The Therapy Place is a pediatric therapy center and private school focused on helping children grow, learn, and succeed. We provide speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral therapy, along with specialized educational programs, all in one supportive setting. Our team works closely together to give each child consistent, individualized care. We value collaboration, open communication, and building strong relationships with the families we serve. At The Therapy Place, you’re not working in isolation—you’re part of a team that shows up for each other and for the kids. You’ll have the support you need to do your job well, the ability to collaborate across disciplines, and the chance to see real progress in the children you work with.

About The Role

The Pediatric Occupational Therapist is a full-time, hourly position responsible for providing evaluation, treatment, and ongoing care for children from birth through age 18. This role focuses on helping children develop the skills they need to participate more independently in everyday activities, including fine motor skills, visual motor skills, activities of daily living, feeding, and sensory processing. Occupational Therapists at The Therapy Place work with children presenting with a wide range of diagnoses, developmental needs, physical challenges, and sensory differences. You will develop individualized plans of care, provide direct therapy services, recommend appropriate equipment and supports, and collaborate closely with families to promote carryover across home, school, and community environments. This position offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, educators, behavioral health professionals, and support staff. Therapists may also collaborate within the Bridges School program, supporting an integrated therapy and education model. This is a full-time, hourly role with consistent scheduling and the opportunity to earn overtime based on caseload and clinic needs. In addition to competitive hourly compensation, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including partially company-paid medical insurance and fully employer-paid dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance. The role also includes paid time off and a retirement plan with a company match of 50% of employee contributions up to 5%. Ongoing professional development, mentorship, and continuing education are supported as part of the role.

  • Assess and provide recommendations for durable medical equipment and adaptive supports as appropriate
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic, state, and payer requirements
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and professional standards
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, educators, behavioral health providers, and administrative staff
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and care coordination
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Level I and Level II occupational therapy students as assigned and in accordance with state requirements
  • Participate in trainings, continuing education, and professional development
