Job summary

Abbott is seeking a District Sales Manager for the Pediatric Nutrition division to lead strategic planning, development, and execution across the Pittsburgh and Northern Ohio/Cleveland districts. You will drive sales growth with Similac and PediaSure brands in hospital and office settings, mentoring a team of sales reps and coordinating cross-functional efforts.

The role requires building a high-performing district, managing budgets, and traveling ~25% to meet customers and ensure execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 2/3 years sales leadership experience; 5–10 years preferred.
• Strategic mindset and strong sales leadership.
• Hospital sales experience is a plus; B-to-B sales experience is a plus.
• Management experience with building and coaching teams.
• Understanding of geography and business landscape; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing territory managers' skills to drive sales and share growth in acute care hospital, pediatric, OB, and related spaces.
• Team/human resources management: performance evals, coaching, recruitment and candidate management.
• Administrative duties: SWOT analysis, hospital contract management, routing, budgeting.
• Special projects: conducting meetings and training sessions.
