Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Nursing Services Student Programs to provide operational leadership for the nursing student program, ensuring high-quality clinical learning experiences that support the development of the future nursing workforce while aligning with the organization’s mission and values.

The role oversees planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of nursing student programs and academic partnerships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• Two years nursing experience required.
• One year of leadership/preceptor experience required.
• Experience with pediatric patient populations required.
• Adult teaching experience preferred.
• Current Arizona RN license or multistate license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• National certification in clinical specialty or nursing professional development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads collaborations with other disciplines and departments to implement pediatric nursing experiences.
• Oversees nursing student rotations, education affiliation agreements, and compliance with affiliations.
• Provides direction for learning opportunities and evidence-based teaching strategies.
• Manages staff supervision, coaching, and performance of the Nursing Services Student Program team.
• Ensures efficient operations and supports onboarding and placement activities.
• Partners with academic institutions and stakeholders to optimize workforce development.
