Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an experienced Nurse Educator to deliver evidence-based nursing education and bridge knowledge gaps using the ANPD framework. You will design and implement learning activities across campuses, applying adult learning theories to diverse learners.

Responsibilities include evaluating outcomes, ROI, and fostering professional growth while mentoring NEPD staff and coordinating with interprofessional teams to advance clinical practice and patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or higher with teaching credentials.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's in Education or related field.
• RN license with state license and CNS or RN-BC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching using ANPD principles and adult learning theories.
• Identify knowledge gaps via needs assessments and data analysis.
• Analyze cost and ROI for learning activities and projects.
• Develop outcomes based on stakeholders' values and evidence.
• Promote new knowledge to guide clinical practice and patient care.
• Mentor NEPD generalists and collaborate with interprofessional teams.
