Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's in Nursing, Education, or related field preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s); in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS certification and AHA instructor certification(s) preferred. NPD specialty or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides education across the continuum of care addressing learning needs with formal and informal assessments.
• Collaborates with unit, entity, and system leaders to develop and deliver tailored education programs.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates onboarding programs for new hires and role transitions.
• Defines, assesses, evaluates, and validates initial and ongoing clinical competencies.
• Provides coaching and builds preceptor capacity to support professional development.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and measures impact on clinical outcomes.
• Participates in quality assessments and system initiatives to improve education effectiveness.
• Serves as a change agent to align education with organizational priorities.
• Maintains records of competencies, attendance, evaluations, and outcomes.
