Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a House Supervisor RN to lead hospital activities during a shift at Primary Children’s in Lehi, UT. You will coordinate patient care across departments, respond to urgent situations, and oversee staffing while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with standards.

The role requires a BSN, current RN license, BLS, and leadership experience; ACLS/PALS are expected within six months. A generous benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BSN from an accredited institution; degree verification required.
• RNs hired/promoted into this role must obtain BSN within four (4) years of hire/promotion.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• FEMA ICS-100/ICS-200, Emergency Notification System training, and Emre training within 12 months of hire.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience managing critical and complex patients.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required within six (6) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital activities during the assigned shift and coordinate care across patient care areas and departments.
• Respond promptly to risk management and urgent patient care situations, including codes and traumas.
• Oversee staffing, address coverage gaps, and provide feedback on staff performance.
• Facilitate patient flow and transitions in care.
• Promote service excellence and a safe work environment.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to support professional growth and align with organizational objectives.
