Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice in Sebring and Lake Placid, FL. This 100% outpatient role offers a predictable weekday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings and no night call thanks to telemedicine coverage.

We operate with EMR eClinicalWorks and provide comprehensive benefits; J1-eligible location includes loan repayment options. Florida licensure and board eligibility are expected within five years of training.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• ACGME or AOA pediatric residency or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Current, unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years of completing training.

Responsibilities

• 100% outpatient practice, build relationships with patients and families in the community.
• Predictable weekday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
