Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking an RN leader to oversee Gen Med I (GI) and Gen Med II (Renal/Endocrine). This full-time, off-shift role includes admin call-rotation nights, weekends, and holidays, with emphasis on staff development and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include staffing, payroll, performance reviews and ensuring collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• 2-5 years hospital RN experience.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care and ensures staff productivity.
• Manages hires, training, assignments and performance evaluations.
• Participates in budgeting and staffing plans.
• Oversees staffing, payroll updates and time-cards reconciliation.
• Maintains collaborative care plans and age-appropriate interventions.
