Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and guidance to staff under physician direction.
• Precept and mentor clinical staff; promote team-based, high-quality care.
• Perform patient assessments as needed.
• Educate staff on clinically-related topics; contribute to staff development.
• Evaluate clinical competency at 90 days and annually.
• Advocate for children's health and maintain a positive public image.
• Care for physical, psychological, social, educational and safety needs of patients.
• Facilitate consultations and discharge planning as directed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
