Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; degree must be obtained within 5 years if not yet completed.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Valid Ohio RN license (Multistate License) required; MSL within 90 days for telehealth/Ohio-outside care.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• No prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supports provider staff and promotes efficient operation and quality pediatric care.
• Precepts new employees and mentors clinical staff.
• Provides patient assessments as required.
• Participates in staff education on clinically related issues.
• Evaluates clinical staff at 90 days and annually.
• Advocates for children's health with patients, families, and community.
• Addresses care needs across physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety domains.
• Provides consultations and facilitates discharge planning.
• Other duties as required.
