Job summary

St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for night/weekend/holiday coverage, delivering primary and sub-acute pediatric care from newborn to adolescent.

You will order medications, therapies, tests, and coordinate with attending physicians and families. The role requires NYS NP or PA license, clinical pediatrics experience, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed in New York State as a Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner; or
• Licensed in New York State as a Physician Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive exams, orders diagnostics, coordinates care with physicians.
• Documents all encounters in EMR and communicates changes to the team.
• Prescribes immunizations and monitors records per AAP/NY guidelines.
