Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for after-hours convenient care in O'Fallon, MO. This part-time, salaried role offers three 8-hour shifts per week with afternoon and evening hours, plus weekend/holiday rotation as required by department.

Minimum requirements include a Master's in nursing with an accredited NP program and NP/RN licenses. Preferred: 2–5 years of pediatric experience; Doctorate and advanced leadership in pediatrics

Qualifications

• Licenses: NP and RN required.
• Pediatric experience preferred; minimum 2–5 years documented in role postings.

Responsibilities

• Participates in professional development.
• Develops treatment plans and treats pediatric patients with acute problems per protocol.
• Coordinates care for select patient populations, educating families and arranging referrals.
• Assumes a leadership role within a clinical specialty.
• Manages healthcare of select populations through advanced assessment, diagnosis, and intervention within a physician collaboration.
