Job summary

CHOC Children's in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a Clinical Nurse PD to plan and deliver family-centered patient care using the nursing process. This role coordinates nursing care, collaborates with families and other professionals, and supports CHOC’s mission of excellence in pediatric nursing care.

The position requires BSN, CA RN license, BLS, and PALS. 1 year of acute care nursing (6 months pediatrics) is required; CCRN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience; pediatric setting preferred.
• BSN from an accredited school; RN license in California.
• BLS and PALS required; CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver family-centered patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients per standards.
• Collaborate with patient/family and other disciplines to ensure effective care delivery.
