Job summary

CHOC in Mission Viejo, California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide leadership for the coordination of clinical and administrative activities on the night shift. Reporting to the Executive Director Acute Care, you will ensure delivery of quality care, patient safety, and staff performance during a 12-hour night shift.

Requires BSN or healthcare-related degree, supervisory experience, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisory experience in the healthcare industry.
• Four years experience in clinical specialty.
• Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing; BSN or BS/BA in a healthcare-related field
• Able to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards and respect; advance care through the development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC’s mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to build and establish positive relationships with stakeholders and staff at all levels.
• Intermediate computer, spreadsheet, & database skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
• 4+ years of nursing management experience in a clinical area of an acute care facility.
• Master of Science in Nursing or Master’s degree in a health-related field from an accredited school Training.
