Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality care across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and adult populations. You will perform approved procedures and monitor equipment, promoting positive outcomes and continuity of care for patients.

Requires RRT with NBRC registration, NC licensure, and BLS; PALS/NRP and ACLS within 90 days. Includes benefits-eligible, 40 hours per week, night shifts in a pediatric-focused setting.

Qualifications

• AMA approved respiratory care program graduate or NBRC eligibility.
• No experience required for beginning practitioners.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and NC state license required.
• BLS required.
• PALS and NRP within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality respiratory care according to departmental policy.
• Monitor and operate cardio-respiratory equipment to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Support clinical instruction and skill-building for students and interns.
