Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, is seeking a Physical Therapist II for our Level IV NICU. The role delivers advanced pediatric PT services to critically ill newborns, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and leading clinic initiatives.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of pediatric PT experience (NICU preferred) and DC licensure or eligibility. The position features a 8am-4:30pm, Monday–Friday schedule and a salary range shown in the posting.

Competenze

• At least 3 years of physical therapy experience; 3–4 years pediatric experience preferred (Required).
• Physical Therapy in NICU setting is preferred.
• DC licensure or licensure in treating jurisdiction upon hire (Required).

Mansioni

• Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate frames of reference per practice acts.
• Select reliable assessment tools relevant to diagnosis and history.
• Synthesize evaluation findings to formulate treatment plans and goals.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in at least 3 core PT competencies for pediatrics.
• Mentor Level I staff, students and other health professionals.
• Assist in planning daily treatment schedules and patient load.
