Job summary

Children’s National Rehabilitation and Specialized Care Center (RSC) is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist to deliver comprehensive therapy to infants, children, and adolescents with complex medical needs. You will evaluate patients, create individualized treatment plans, and work with an interdisciplinary team to promote mobility and functional independence.

The role requires a DC PT license (or eligibility) and CPR certification, with experience in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE approved physical therapy curriculum.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Current or eligible for DC Physical Therapy license; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to infants, children, and adolescents with complex needs.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support rehabilitation goals and transitions of care.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
