Job summary

Avera Medical Group Neurosurgery-Sioux Falls seeks a highly qualified neurosurgeon to provide evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and comprehensive patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. The role includes patient education, collaboration with the care team, and on-call involvement in evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements include an MD or DO with board certification or eligibility, proper state licensure, and a current DEA license.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor licensed in the state of practice.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as per protocol.
• Interprets diagnostic information and formulates plan of care.
• Maintains patient records and coordinates referrals with care team.
