Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to medical staff approved protocol and acceptable standards of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and family members.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and interprets information to plan care.
• Maintains patient records and ensures safety and proper environment of care.
• Meets with care teams for consultation and collaboration; arranges referrals as needed.
