Akron Children’s Hospital is seeking a pediatric neuropsychologist for a full-time position focused on neuropsychological assessment of children of all ages. The role is housed in the Division of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and the NeuroDevelopmental Science Center, with opportunities to collaborate across multiple specialties. Requirements include a Ph.D.

or Psy.D. in child/pediatric psychology with APA/CPA internship, Ohio licensure eligibility, and a pediatric neuropsychology fellowship

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child clinical psychology/pediatric psychology with APA/CPA internship.
• Eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
• Completion of a pediatric neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship (APPCN preferred).
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology must be obtained within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological assessments for children and youth across ages.
• Collaborate with Neurology, Neurosurgery and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics teams.
• Provide supervision and training to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
