Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a Program Director for Neuropsychology to oversee clinical programming and staff development. You will ensure evidence-based assessment and treatment modalities are implemented, while coordinating with psychiatry and related departments. The role reports to the Director of Psychology and guides service quality and program growth.

Qualified candidates hold a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in pediatric psychology, with Ohio licensure eligibility and a post‑doctoral pediatric

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child/pediatric psychology with internship in an APA/CPA program.
• Eligibility for Ohio licensure within hire timeframe.
• Two-year pediatric neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship preferred (APPCN).

Responsibilities

• Oversight of neuropsychology programming and clinical staff training.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based assessment and treatment modalities.
• Serve as liaison between Psychiatry/Behavioral Health and related departments.
• Report to the Director of Psychology and supervise clinical programs.
