Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a pediatric neuropsychologist to join the NeuroDevelopmental Science Center. You will perform neuropsychological assessments for children, collaborate with neurology, psychiatry and rehab teams, and may specialize in NF, oncology or congenital heart conditions.

Eligibility for Ohio licensure and a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship are required or APPCN preferred. Academic appointment through NEOMED accompanies a strong research and teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child clinical psychology/pediatric psychology with internship (APA/CPA-accredited).
• Eligibility for Ohio licensure and completion of a 2-year Pediatric Neuropsychology Post-doctoral Fellowship (APPCN preferred).
• Experience with medical populations preferred; board certification to be obtained within 5 years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide neuropsychological assessments for children across ages.
• Collaborate with Psychiatry, Neurology, Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and Physiatry.
• Opportunities to specialize (e.g., NF, oncology, congenital heart defects) or provide general neuropsych services.
• Supervision and training of graduate students and postdocs; academic appointment via NEOMED.
