Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a pediatric neuropsychologist for a full-time position focusing on neuropsychological assessment of children across ages. The role is housed in the Division of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and served by a neuropsychology team within the NeuroDevelopmental Science Center.

The position offers collaboration with physicians, nurses, and researchers, opportunities for specialization, and an active research database.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child clinical psychology/pediatric psychology with internship in APA/CPA-accredited program.
• Eligibility for licensure in Ohio.
• Completion of a two-year Pediatric Neuropsychology Post-doctoral Fellowship (APPCN preferred).
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology must be obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Experience with medical populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological assessments for children of all ages.
• Work within the Division of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and NeuroDevelopmental Science Center.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and supervise/teach trainees.
• Academic appointment through NEOMED; participate in research and clinical training.
