Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a Program Director for Neuropsychology to oversee the neuropsychology program, train staff, and ensure use of evidence-based assessment and treatment modalities. You will report to the Director of Psychology and collaborate with Psychiatry and Behavioral Health across departments.

The role requires PhD or PsyD in pediatric psychology, internship completion, Ohio licensure eligibility, and post-doctoral fellowship. ABPP within 5 years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in child/pediatric psychology with internship in APA/CPA-accredited program.
• Eligibility for Ohio licensure and completion of Pediatric Neuropsychology Post-doctoral Fellowship (APPCN preferred).
• Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology to be obtained within 5 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee neuropsychology programming and staff training.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based assessment and treatment modalities.
• Serve as liaison between Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and other departments.
