Qualifications

• MD degree or foreign equivalent required.
• Illinois physician license eligibility required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology required.
• 3 years Pediatrics Residency and 3 years Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
• Participate in teaching programs for medical students and residents.
• Organize and conduct bench and/or clinical research in pediatric hematology/oncology.
• Participate in cooperative research efforts and clinical trials (St. Jude affiliate, COG).
• Engage in curriculum development, student counseling, and faculty administration as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned within university faculty responsibilities.

Education

MD Degree or foreign equivalent

Eligible for Illinois Physician License

Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology / Oncology
