The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate/Professor-Pediatric Hospitalist in the Department of Pediatrics at Peoria, IL. This role combines academic inpatient hospitalist duties with medical education responsibilities at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board certification in Pediatrics is required.
• Completion of 3-year pediatric residency.
• Must be eligible for Illinois medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic inpatient hospitalist services at OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.
• Participate in undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs.
• Organize and conduct research or scholarly programs in pediatric hospital medicine.
• Perform other duties of a University faculty member including committees and curriculum development.
• Engage in additional duties and special projects as assigned.
