Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care for pediatric and neonatal patients at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Working under physician supervision, you will evaluate, assess, and treat infants and children with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, diagnostic testing, and therapies using evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• NRP certification required for neonatal/obstetric services.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic evaluations including PFTs and sleep studies.
• Provide and manage respiratory therapies as prescribed.
• Assess patients and modify care plans based on findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on therapy changes.
• Participate in discharge planning and family education.
