Qualifications

• Massachusetts license in Respiratory Care required and current.
• Knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
• Ability to document accurately and communicate with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures for infants to adults.
• Operate, maintain, and monitor respiratory care equipment.
• Obtain arterial blood gases and assist with CPR and emergencies.
• Assess patients and determine appropriate respiratory therapies.
• Document assessments, therapies, and orders.
• Communicate with patients, families, nurses, and physicians.
• Prioritize procedures based on acuity and urgent needs.
• Share knowledge and assist colleagues with procedures.
